What Personal Information About Customers Does Blink Collect?

Does Blink Share the Information it Receives?

  • Information about our customers is an important part of our business and we are not in the business of selling our customers’ personal information to others. Blink shares customers’ personal information only as described below and with its affiliates that are either subject to this Privacy Notice or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Notice.Third Party Service Providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. How Secure is Information About Me?

We design our systems and devices with your security and privacy in mind. 

  • We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.

  • We follow the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) when handling credit card data.

  • We take physical, organizational, and technological precautions to help protect your privacy and the personal information we collect. What Information Can I Access?

You can access your information, including your name, address, payment options, profile information, and order history in the “Account” section of the website. You can access and delete video clips from your Blink app.

What Choices Do I Have?

If you have any question or objection as to how we collect and process your personal information, please contact Blink Customer Support.

  • As discussed above, you can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of the Blink Services.

  • You can add or update certain information on pages such as your account page on our websites. When you update information, we usually keep a copy of the previous version for our records.

  • If you don't want to receive e-mail or other communication from us, please contact Blink Customer Support or click on the unsubscribe link included in e-mails you have received from us. (If you don't want to receive Terms of Service and other legal notices from us, such as this Privacy Notice, those notices still will govern your use of Blink websites, devices, products, services, or applications, and it's your responsibility to review them for changes.)

  • The Help feature on most browsers and devices will tell you how to prevent your browser or device from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie or how to disable cookies altogether. For more information about cookies, see our Cookie Notice.

  • If you want to browse our websites anonymously, you may do so by logging out of your account and disabling cookies on your browser.

  • When you consent to our processing your personal information for a specified purpose, you may withdraw your consent at any time and we will stop any further processing of your personal information for that purpose.

Are Children Allowed to Use Blink Services?

Blink doesn't sell products for purchase by children. If you're under the legal age of majority in your province or territory of residence, you may use Blink Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. 

Terms of Service, Notices and Revisions

If you choose to visit a Blink website, including blinkforhome.com your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our Terms of Service, including limitations on damages, resolution of disputes, and application of the law of the state of Washington. If you have any concern about privacy, please contact Blink Customer Support. with a thorough description, and we will try to resolve it.

Our business changes constantly, and our Privacy Notice and the Terms of Service will change also. We may e-mail periodic reminders of our notices and conditions, but you should check our Web site frequently to see recent changes. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Notice applies to all information that we have about you and your account.
